Counter-Strike: Global Offensive fans can already pledge their allegiance to their favorite players with jerseys, flags and lots of other swag, but now another staple of sports fandom is coming to CS:GO: bobbleheads.
ESL has begun production on a line of esports “action figures,” dubbed Esports Allstars, which will debut at IEM Oakland, according to a tweet from tournament organizers. The first available figures will be CS:GO legends Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund, Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač.

For decades, bobbleheads have been associated with memorable moments in athletes’ careers, such as when they’re inducted into a hall of fame, or when Bo Jackson broke a bat in half with his knee. It was only a matter of time until esports got the same treatment.

GeT_RiGhT was one of the more obvious choices, having competed in Counter-Strike for nearly a decade, with a heap of international titles and the most rabid fans. GuardiaN, meanwhile, has become synonymous with the all-important AWP.
NiKo, though not the most accomplished player in CS:GO, has shown incredible potential. He’s been hailed by analysts like Duncan “Thorin” Shields as one of the best in the world.

The figurines will be available at IEM Oakland on Nov. 19-20.
In the meantime, we’ll be asking ourselves the most important question: who will be next?
